Residual values of vehicles sold on the national market

RVBook (Residual Value Book) uses statistical forecasting methods to estimate future values for new or used vehicles.
Added value and benefits
With the RVB File, the user can estimate the future values of the vehicle (s), indicating the expected number of kilometers, within the expected period of time.
Knowing the future value of the vehicles financed allows assessing the exposure to possible non-compliances and / or establishing the appropriate provisions for the return of vehicles at the end of the contract.
The estimate can be made for periods between 12 and 120 months.
The information is available through

Methodology

We constantly collect data from auction houses, fleet managers, car rental companies and used car dealers. With these data, referring to real vehicle transactions, carried out in the local market, we have a solid and credible basis for forecasting future values, using econometric and statistical forecasting methods.

In addition to the historical analysis of the market, calculations of future values take into account factors such as: segment where the vehicle is inserted, mileage, brand, type of fuel, existing equipment, seasonality, type of bodywork, new models and existing versions , vehicle life cycle, economic growth, disposable income, inflation rate, taxes, GDP or the price of oil.
